A Stockport-based multi-service law firm is currently looking to recruit an experienced Legal Accounts Manager to join its legal accounts department on a full-time basis due to expansion. You will be required to have experience of volume conveyancing accounts at a senior legal cashier level and be fully compliant with the Solicitors Accounts Rules.
You will be working within a team of 6 legal cashiers, reporting directly to the head of legal accounts. The firm is offering a competitive salary banding plus benefits package.
You will be dealing with accounting checks, balances and procedures in support of the growth, working within a busy team assisting with a large volume of conveyancing transactions on a weekly basis.
You will be able to demonstrate an extensive knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules, and experience of volume residential conveyancing on Proclaim is essential.
Managing an accounts team and overseeing and assisting with Payroll and VAT Returns, bank and control account reconciliations and preparation of month/year end accounts are a pre-requisite.
