This firm has grown significantly over the last few years, both organically, and by strategic planning, all adding to their continuing success. Due to continuing success, they are now seeking an Executry Paralegal to join their busy team, you can be based out of any of their offices across Fife or Tayside. For the most part remote working is the norm and going forward post Covid you shall be able to have a blend of office and remote working, subject to departmental needs.
You should have previous experience of managing executry matters, (ideally 2 years’ as a minimum) this shall include amongst others:
Meeting with clients, alone or with the lead Solicitor
Ingathering information
Preparing a register of all assets and debts
Prepare an Inventory for confirmation
Calculating IHT
Applying for confirmation
You must have excellent communication skills, be able to deal with matters with empathy and efficiency, have excellent IT and organisational skills, be able to record fees appropriately and be willing to undertake all associated administration tasks.
Candidates who are SOLAS, or STEP qualified or who are an Accredited Executry Paralegal are of particular interest.
