This is a new role to join a well known national law firm as a Professional Support Lawyer. You will work closely with an experienced employment team across a network of offices nationally. As a busy Professional Support Lawyer you will have an opportunity to carve a challenging career away from fee earning. Part time or flexible working is available.

The role

As a Professional Support Lawyer in this team, you would:
*Develop and deliver training across a range of platforms, to reflect new ways of working, driving technical excellence across the team.
*Monitor key developments in law and practice, keeping lawyers up to date with legal changes.
*Work with lawyers to develop commercially focused and technically excellent advice.
*Contribute to key client relationships through knowledge management and training solutions.
*Work with marketing on external profile raising such as articles, events and client facing know how materials.
*Have ongoing career progression within a dynamic and close-knit team.

The candidate

To be successful in your application for this Professional Support Lawyer vacancy, you will have:
*A minimum of 5 years' PQE in employment law.
*Have either experience of working as a Professional Support Lawyer, or a genuine interest in moving away from a fee earning role.
*Experience of working in a national team of lawyers at a full service law firm.
*A strong interest in the black letter law, excellent technical skills and a keen interest in delivering training and first class presenting skills.
*A strong academic background.
*A team player with a commercial outlook.
