Media & Tech Associate - 2PQE

Pure Search are instructed by a media and entertainment client going through an exciting period of transition and growth.

The Company:

Our client is going through an exciting period in creating a new narrative focused around organic growth and development into new markets. With an established reputation as one of the leading media and entertainment practices in the market, they are currently seeking a junior associate (around 2PQE) to join their growing team.

Largely made up of lawyers from Magic/Silver Circle and international law firms, they have an outstanding reputation working across a range of music, film, TV, advertising, branding, sports, gaming and technology matters. Where they distinguish themselves from larger international practices is in terms of taking on a role more akin to an in-house Counsel, making this a very attractive transition for someone torn between moving in-house and remaining in private practice.

The Role:

Working across a very diverse range of media, entertainment, technology and general commercial matters, you will advise in respect of digital content, software and online platforms, IP licensing and infringement matters, talent and agency agreements, data privacy, advertising and adtech.

You will work closely with a range of start-ups and multi-national media and tech clients, working on some of the most high-profile matters in the TMT space.

About You:

You will have at least 18 months general commercial, media or technology experience at a top 50 UK law firm and be looking to progress your career at a firm with a more relaxed outlook and a very clear and transparent progression track. You may be considering a career move in-house or be coming from an in-house environment and be looking for a role that will engage you with an incredibly diverse range of commercial and technology matters.
