The Company:

Our client has a very global outlook, providing significant scope for international and client secondments, with over 40 offices worldwide. They have a strong presence in both developed and emerging markets and have retained a firm commitment to their sector roots, despite their continued growth and expansion into other areas.

The Role:

The role involves advising insurers with their financial institutions, D&O, professional indemnity and warranty & indemnity claims. Working closely with an incredibly experienced, warm and engaging partner, you will see significant scope for career development and personal growth, with a clear recognition of associates having a good work/life balance away from the office (or their laptops in COVID times).

The London team has high levels of collaboration with international offices to advise on elements of international disputes, making this an incredibly varied and wide-ranging role. Their presence in the insurance market means that individual teams are more streamlined, making it easier to for a mid-senior level associate to gain access to some of the highest-profile and value matters across the insurance group.

About You:

You will have at least 4 years post-qualification experience working in a Legal 500 ranked insurance practice. Building on your experience of representing insurers in claims involving financial institutions, D&O policies and coverage claims, you will be looking to join a recognised market leader in the insurance market who can propel your career to the next level, whether you are considering partnership or a move in-house in the long-term.
