We are working alongside a leading property management company who are seeking a property paralegal on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will initially be working remotely with a view to review to the office in the coming months.
The property paralegal will join the acquisitions team and will work closely with landlords, solicitors and customers to ensure the process of acquiring new units is as organised and informative as possible. Within this varied and challenging role, you will be required to deal with client queries, review documents such as leases, title registers and title plans ensuring all information is accurately recorded on the in house database. A key element of the role will be to understand how land ownership tenures and ownership structures work in England and Wales.
Applicants will have completed a law degree or equivalent and possess experience in a similar role within conveyancing, residential property or property management. The ability to read and understand title registers, title plans, leases and deeds is essential coupled with knowledge of how freehold and leasehold law works.
First class communication and organisation skills are a prerequisite along with the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Strong IT skills are required, particularly with Microsoft Excel. Previous experience of using Qube database is highly advantageous.
