This is a rare role within this specialist team.

Our client is a well-known top 100 firm but there is no doubt their work in the Education sector is the jewel in their crown. They are top rated nationally in the likes of the L500 and Chambers and regularly appear as the leading authority on all aspects of Education sector legal work, both contentious and non-contentious, across all forms of media.

Their success is only picking up in pace as they consistently attract new clients whether new independent schools, FE institutions etc. The team has grown enormously over recent years but they are still stretched and as a result there is now an opening for an experienced lawyer to join the team as another key Associate who can work closely alongside the high profile Partner.

By way of example, the day to day work could vary from advising nurseries and schools on the operation of their contracts for services and wider third party fee agreements, to advising on admissions and exclusions, dealing with legal issues arising from behaviour and discipline, and the handling of statutory appeals and high profile judicial reviews. Every day is different and incredibly rewarding!

This is a unique role and could suit a lawyer either from a non-contentious Commercial background or equally a Commercial Litigation lawyer but with some previous education sector experience.
