A great opportunity for an experienced Paralegal to join one of the leading Court of Protection teams in the region.
The Firm
The firm a UK Legal 100 firm with established offices across the UK as well as an international reach the court of protection team have a huge amount of experience and deal with challenging and interesting work.
Role Overview
As a Paralegal on the team you will work alongside and support experienced solicitors who advise individuals, their families, carers, trustees, beneficiaries and other professionals on a broad range of issues arising from catastrophic personal injury (including serious brain injury) with high value compensation awards.
They work closely with the Court of Protection, the individuals and their families to ensure all decisions are made in their best interests. The work largely focuses on financial management, but the team are also involved with matters of welfare such as care funding, benefits, deprivation of liberty, special education and generally issues relating to capacity.
Key aspects of the position:
This role would suit an experienced Paralegal with prior experience acquired on a COP team with good technical knowledge ideally with understanding of OPG Deputyship standards. Naturally you will consider yourself highly organised, enjoy working in a busy yet rewarding role and a good all round communicator with a professional approach to your.
