Attorney Talent Manager
A prestigious US Law Firm is looking to hire a new Attorney Talent Manager on a permanent basis who will support the learning, development and integration of Associates by acting as a resource for career related questions and through one-to-one coaching and consulting. Responsibilities will include conducting oversees office specific orientation for Trainees, monitoring the effectiveness of firm’s mentoring programmes for Trainees and Attorneys in region, providing career guidance and coaching, working with Attorney Recruiting team on Trainee seat rotations, working in conjunction with Diversity and Inclusion team on diversity initiatives within region, developing and executing engagement strategies and programmes, partnering with Human Resources team and General Counsel on sensitive employee matters. Other duties include providing strategic input for firmwide communications to Associates on issues impacting compensation, development and engagement, promoting Associate and Partner awareness of the Firm’s Attorney career development policies, providing guidance and support to Partners in areas of talent development for Attorneys and being responsible for team management including policies, staffing and employee relations issues. Candidates need to have a strong background in career development, diversity & inclusion within a professional services environment, the ideal candidate would have previously practiced law and obtained a law degree, in addition to having strong written, communication and organisational skills.
