The Role:

My client is a top law firm, who cover a full range of Personal Injury to include public liability, occupiers liability, RTA, employers liability, industrial disease, serious injuries and clinical negligence. Now looking to recruit a number of Costs Paralegals/ Trainee Costs Draftsmen into their Costs and department, this is an excellent opportunity to secure a role with a reputable company with excellent training and progression opportunities.

General duties will include preparation of summary assessment trial schedules, breakdowns of costs at case conclusion and formal bills where detailed assessment are required. There will also be further training provided around costs negotiation, detailed assessment proceedings and costs budgeting.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you will ideally have some experience of working in a Law Costs environment, but promising Law Paralegals with Personal Injury experience may also be considered as full training will be provided. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as well as a good level of IT proficiency. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate high attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

The salary on offer is between £18,000 to £20,000.
