The Role
The firm are looking to recruit a Healthcare Solicitor (5 years PQE+) in their growing Leeds office.
You will join a department that has heavy hitting lawyers across all of their offices and are true specialists in the field. The department advises clients on regulatory and disciplinary proceedings.
The current vacancy is for someone with a sound understanding of Regulatory and Inquest law. Experience of Criminal law especially attendance at the police station is also desired.
The role requires an advocate with experience before a variety of tribunals/ courts. It will be necessary to manage a varied and complex caseload, and effectively look after cases from initial instruction to contested hearing.
The role will be working closely with other heavy hitting team members providing support. There will also be an element of the role where you will give training to clients as required will also be a part of the role.
Requirements
- You will be a Healthcare Lawyer with at least five years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience)
- You must have experience in conducting advocacy at inquests
- Experience of Criminal Law, especially attendance at the police station is required
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a demanding environment
