Commercial Solicitor - Legal Counsel

Our client is looking for a commercial lawyer with knowledge and experience in a financial services / FCA framework environment to join their highly regarded in-house legal team.

Based in London, this is a varied and busy role assisting the Head of Legal in managing all legal and regulatory matters affecting this fast growing company.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a UK qualified Solicitor
• Have a strength in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements
• Have some prior experience in a financial services environment dealing with FCA regulatory matters
• Advise the Company on a range of other legal matters including data protection
• Have great communication skills to advise senior management on legal matters as required

Our client envisages that candidates with between 2 to 6 years PQE will have the relevant skills / knowledge for this position, however this has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this PQE range but who have the relevant experience.
