Our client is a leading law firm based in Reading. The firm has a national reputation for handling commercial and personal legal for a wide range of individuals, businesses, institutions, and third sector organisations.
The Reading office Costs Department is seeking a Costs Lawyer to be an effective member of the team.
Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years + experience within the clinical negligence and personal injury.
You duties will include:
Also a relevant qualification: Association of Law Costs Draftsmen or a law degree would be beneficial but is not essential for this role.
You should also have previous experience of working in a law firm, present with strong IT skills and be familiar with the relevant software.
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience and attractive benefits package.

- Preparing bills of costs, replies and costs budgets
- Preparing files for assessment (provisional and detailed)
- Assisting the Costs Director on complex high value costs matters
