About the roles

This is a great opportunity to join Armstrong Teasdale during an exciting growth phase of its London office.  You will work closely with Partners and other colleagues, and national and international clients, in our Commercial Litigation, Corporate or Real Estate team.

The roles involve client contact, meetings and drafting of documents and correspondence.  You will carry out research activities and provide support on departmental specific tasks.

These are rewarding roles that will suit experienced paralegals looking for the next challenge in their career.  We offer a good work-life balance, although flexibility will be required during the busier times.

Commercial Litigation responsibilities will include:

  • Completing due diligence, disclosure and verification exercises
  • Disclosure reviews
  • Preparing electronic files and hearing bundles

Corporate responsibilities will include:

  • Managing company secretarial services provided to clients (including Companies House filings)
  • Managing data rooms
  • Completing due diligence, disclosure and verification exercises
  • Drafting transaction documents such as, but not limited to, completion deliverables
  • Preparing transaction document bundles

About you

You will be motivated with a flexible approach to work, a willingness to learn, and high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.  You will be able to demonstrate good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise.

You will have:

  • Graduated from the Legal Practice Course with a minimum grade of Commendation
  • A degree with minimum grade of upper second class or equivalent
  • At least two years’ recent work experience in the relevant department of a private practice
  • Knowledge of document management systems
  • Intermediate Word, Outlook and Excel and basic PowerPoint (preferably Office 365)
  • Excellent verbal and written (including spelling) communication skills; English at native speaker standard
  • Good timekeeping
  • Ability to produce and edit PDF documents; CE-Filing experience (for Litigation role)
