Adult Social Care Lawyer

A local authority based in London is seeking an Adult Social Services Lawyer for three months initially. The role will ideally start in May 2021.

Our client is seeking an Adults Lawyer to undertake the following:

-              Provide advice under the Care Act 2014,

-              Advice on the councils’ responsibilities to persons with no recourse to public funds,

-              Mental Capacity Act 2005 matters,

-              Deprivation of liberty,

-              COP,

-              Judicial review and

-              SEN matters

Our client is looking for someone with excellent organisational and time management skills who can bring a positive influence on developing the working practices of the team.  It is essential that you have experience carrying a full and varied adult social care caseload as you will pick up an existing caseload from the outset.

Previous local government adult social care experience would be advantageous. Please only apply for the role if you have experience in all the areas listed above.
