Litigation Lawyers required to join a Government Department in London for an 11 month contract. My client is looking for an organised and hard-working Solicitor or Barrister who is experienced in Litigation and preferably Public Law to manage an immigration case-load.

The ideal candidate will have litigation experience from any background but will preferable have experience of dealing with public law matters. Lawyers from similar jurisdictions are welcome to apply to these roles.

You will be working within a supportive and friendly team and will be offered full training before taking on a busy caseload. As a Litigation Lawyer you will be expected to manage your own caseload and work independently subject to supervision. High-quality writing skills are essential as substantive written work plays a large part in an immigration lawyer's day to day role. The client requires a solicitor/ barrister with effective case working skills; these include great communication, drafting and planning in order to meet deadlines. A successful candidate will be working effectively with clients and colleagues alike and display a positive, open and helpful attitude in the conduct of their work. The successful lawyer will be expected to meet their chargeable hours' targets within a few weeks of employment. The roles are currently remote with flexible working patterns on offer in the future.

  • Fully qualified solicitor/ barrister
  • Public law experience is preferred, 2+ years.
