Head of Employment

Claire Bate, a member of eNL’s specialist Midlands Private Practice team, is currently seeking a Senior Employment Solicitor in Shropshire. Due to expansion the Employment team of this Top 100 firm are seeking a Senior Solicitor to head up the department. 

JOB TITLE: Head of Employment
PQE REQUIRED: 5+ years
LOCATION: Shropshire
SALARY: £50,000 - £60,000

THE ROLE:
You will confidently manage a team alongside running your own caseload of respondent and claimant work. Working as an integral part of the Employment team, ideally with a client following or established connections locally. The role is a varied and challenging position best suited to a Senior Associate seeking a step up, or existing Head of department looking to move into a market leading organisation.

THE CANDIDATE:
Ideally 5+ years experience within Employment law, familiarity with conducting own advocacy, research, pre hearing reviews and representing clients at Employment Tribunals. Excellent client care and business development skills are a must to succeed in this role, as well as confidence advising and communicating effectively with junior fee earners.
