To assist to run compliant recruitment businesses providing services such as legal helpdesks, written legal and compliance information and precedents, maintenance of training initiatives. Supporting the compliance programmes and other audit and assessment initiatives.

Description
Key Tasks
Legal Helpdesks and Complaints/Data Accounts:
Overseeing delivery and meeting of KPIs of the Helpdesks, both internal helpdesks and external helpdesks.
Responding and providing advice on member queries within the stated timeframes.
Preparing a monthly board report on KPIs of helpdesk activity and other legal compliance activities.
Investigating and responding to complaints and data protection requests received with GC.
Legal Services
Researching and drafting member briefings, guidance, training, model contracts and other documentation as part of legal team.
Managing the Legal Services sections of the UK website with colleagues.
Compliance +:
Acting as Secretary and day to day representative on Compliance + Education and Social Worker committees and acting as liaison with members, government and other external stakeholders.
Subject matter expert on Compliance + temporary recruitment compliance requirements.
Maintaining Compliance + standards and assisting with drafting new Compliance + standards for new sectors initiatives - such as Compliance and other audit, training and assessments programmes.
Compliance Assessments: International Management Companies, UK Umbrella External Assessment, AMRA:
Ensuring assessments maintained and up to date.
Ensuring assessments cover key legal/compliance risks, as updated from time to time.
Legal Training, Member Presentations and external stakeholder relationships:
Ensuring Legal and Compliance Training Documentation up to date.
Delivery of Legal and Compliance training (with colleagues).
Preparing and delivering ad hoc presentations/attending at member events (e. sector groups).
Representing at appropriate external events; panels, government meetings and bodies, round tables etc.
Building relationships with Government bodies including DBS, Home Office, HMRC, BEIS, CCS and DFE and consulting with members and drafting consultation response papers as part of legal team.
Delivering presentations on legislative and regulatory issues affecting the recruitment industry.
Other Tasks
Attending occasional relationship virtual or in person meetings with prospects and key members.
Responding to member ad-hoc questions on views/best practice.
Ad hoc legal support to team and management.
Profile
Legal qualification, such as a law degree or GDL and LPC or other equivalent qualifications required.
Legal experience in a commercial environment required in recruitment or associated supply chain.
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and time management skills required.
Will suit adaptable, pro-active individual used to working in a client/member focused environment, keen to use their initiative to deliver and develop services and looking for a longer term opportunity in a thriving, ambitious, friendly and supportive organisation.
