Employment Solicitor (Respondent)

I am working with a national practice with a solid footing in the Leeds and Yorkshire market who are on the lookout for a (respondent) Employment Solicitor to join their team.

The team has continued to busy throughout the covid19 and lockdown period, with increased instructions over the last few months and a desire to add a talented employment Solicitor to the team.

The firm work both regionally and nationally for a number of well-known clients across a multitude of sectors including Healthcare, Central and Local Government, Housing Associations and the Private Sector.

The role will be ideally suited to those who are between around 1 - 4 years PQE and are comfortable carrying their own caseload of matters and assisting on more complex and demanding work. The caseload will cover a broad range of employment matters both contentious and non-contentious advising on things such as disciplinaries/grievances, policy reviews, procedure and contracts, conduct of ET and advising on the TUPE process.

The firm are listed in both the Legal 500 and are a Top 100 practice and are leaders across a number of specialised sectors mentioned above.

The culture of the firm is relaxed and friendly whilst also being professional. There are no egos here and lawyers get the chance to prove themselves and shine rather than simply being numbers on a spreadsheet.

There is a competitive salary with good benefits on offer dependent on level of experience.

If you would like to hear more about this opportunity, please contact Graham Rawlinson at QED Legal for a confidential chat.
