Fantastic Opportunity working with a diverse and talented legal team in the insurance sector.
12 month contract - varied role for a legally qualified candidate at preferably 2-4 years PQE.
Main Duties
Project Legal Support
- Distillation of legal issues from multiple business units and maintaining databases of legal issues.
- Dialogue with BU legal teams
- Liaising with external counsel
- Assisting with project related transfers restructuring of legal entities.
- Supporting interactions with regulators and other authorities.
Updating Compliance and Corporate Governance
Framework to reflect new legal structure
- Updating of corporate governance work
- Updating Compliance policies
- Supporting company secretarial team
Dealing with General Legal Impacts
- Impacts on existing vendors contracts
- Negotiating new contracts
Skills/Experience
Essential
- Qualified legal professional (at least 2 years PQE)
- General corporate and/or commercial
