QED Legal are working with a Top 100 national practice in Leeds who are looking for a 2-5 year PQE(approx.) Corporate Solicitor to join their growing team.
The team undertakes a broad range of corporate work including share and asset disposals, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, private equity, joint ventures, fundraising and general corporate advisory work advising an equally broad range of clients, including:
Private companies
Banks
Management teams
Investment funds
Central government bodies and local authorities
Development and regeneration vehicles
Housing Associations, NHS & Foundation Trusts, Primary Care Trusts and GP consortia
Insolvency practitioners
The Leeds based team is looking to further strengthen its practice with an additional corporate transactional solicitor or associate. The work will cover all aspects of corporate finance including M&A, private equity, venture capital, capital markets, joint ventures and re-organisations.
This role will suit an ambitious and motivated 2-5 year PQE corporate lawyer able to demonstrate solid experience of supporting and collaborating on a good mix of corporate transactions for a range of clients with a keen desire to build on their experience and gain exposure to building new and existing client relationships and business opportunities.
The firm, although national in scope and size, understand the importance of being active in their respective local communities with donations to local office charities (currently Maggies Cancer Care in Leeds), and the opportunity for lawyers to do pro bono work for them and not-for-profit organisations.
It is a really inclusive and friendly environment too, for example the firm has a Strava running club, ‘Cook Along’ events, and support diversity with events celebrating race, disability history month and many more.
There is a competitive salary on offer and great benefits depending on level of experience.
