Our client, a major City firm, known for the calibre of its employment practice and often the choice of lawyers looking to move from the largest City firms for a broader range of employment work and sector expertise and a different culture, is now looking for an experienced employment lawyer, preferably with at least 5PQE and coming from an employer/ respondent focused practice. It is envisaged that the new hire will join the team in a senior role to undertake a broad range of both contentious and non-contentious employment work, though with more of a focus (up to 50%) on corporate support.
The employment partners are happy to consider both UK (London or major regional) qualified employment lawyers and employment lawyers coming from top tier firms in common law jurisdictions for this position.
The firm is also happy to consider applications from employment lawyers who, post covid, would prefer to work mainly remotely.
