The Role

Contentious Construction Associate to join international Top 20 firm in Bristol

The specialist Bristol team team advise some of the largest insurers and professional firms globally on risk and construction issue, acting in unison with offices overseas.

You will focus predominantly on defending claims against construction professionals including architects, engineers, project managers, quantity surveyors and coverage disputes, in particular international arbitrations. There is the means to work on non-contentious insurance matters.

The work will be complex, regularly involving litigation via Technology and Construction Court, with you acting alongside Partners looking to mentor and aid in your senior development.

Requirements

  • You will be a qualified solicitor between 1-4 years PQE
  • A background in professional indemnity work concerning the construction industry.
  • Worked within a similar respectable group
  • Commercially orientated
