Senior Legal Counsel

Role - Senior Legal Counsel:

Reporting into the Head of Legal, the Senior Legal Counsel will have the opportunity to undertake a varied commercial legal role, working with clients and suppliers across a wide range of industry sectors.

As well as contract drafting and negotiation, the Senior Legal Counsel will undertake some contentious work, elements of public procurement, IP, GDPR, Bribery and Corruption, Risk and Compliance, and ad hoc project work.

Your key responsibilities will be to support the head of department, ensure regulatory compliance in key areas, deliver training to the business, and ensure legal contracts are aligned with company policies and procedures whilst managing internal clients with diverse skills and varying backgrounds.


About you:

You will be a c. 4+ years' PQE solicitor, ideally with commercial contracts experience gained at a leading regional, national or international law firm, or equivalent in-house department.

Proven experience of strong drafting and negotiation skills, and an ability to work on a sizeable caseload with requisite organisational skills is essential.
