Exciting new opportunity for an HR Manager to join a dynamic, forward-thinking and award-winning global law firm!

Reporting into the Director of HR - Europe & Asia, you will manage the firm's HR processes and procedures in order to maintain and sustain a high standard of HR practice. This role is responsible for the Business Services population and will work closely with the other HR Manager for the legal population and the Recruitment Manager, both based in London.

Responsibilities will include:

HR Business Partnering - Providing advice on issues, supporting the Director of HR to develop people plans, monitor and evaluate key metrics
Integration/Onboarding - Partnering with HR Operations and other departments to support successful onboarding and integration, supporting team members as they settle into the firm, conducting exit interviews
Professional Development - Annual review process, performance reviews, promotions, salary review and bonus allocation. Review feedback and raise to appropriate person to discuss possible actions
Employee Relations - Respond to employee relations issues and concerns, remain knowledgeable and updated on all UK HR legislation, responsible for flexible working requests, monitor feedback and take proactive steps to minimise ER issues
Compensation - Work with US HR Managers, the firm's Compensation Department and Director of HR - Europe & Asia on the annual compensation cycle for London, in line with global process. This includes salary review and bonus allocation. Work together with the Director of HR - Europe & Asia and the firm's Compensation Department to develop, maintain and monitor the firm's London compensation programme
Benefits - With Director of HR - Europe & Asia, manage firm's UK benefits plans, support annual renewal process, respond to benefits related queries
Legal Compliance - Ensure compliance with UK employment law requirements and regulatory requirements from the SRA in conjunction with the Risk and Compliance department. Works with the Director of HR - Europe & Asia to develop, implement and maintain office specific employment policies
Policy Development - Work to develop and maintain policies and procedures for the UK offices that are compliant with UK law and customs. Respond to policy related queries
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion - Encourage inclusion and serve as a resource for team members with diverse backgrounds and perspectives. Support Director of HR - Europe & Asia and the Director of Benefits on mental health and wellbeing

The ideal candidate will be degree educated and CIPD qualified and will have solid human resources management experience, some of which is ideally within the legal profession. You must have excellent communication both written and verbal, and a proactive attitude. You must be able to multitask and keep calm under pressure, and manage tasks in an efficient and timely manner. Excellent attention to detail is a must, and you need to be able to deal with confidential matters with discretion. You will have the ability to demonstrate sound judgement, first-class attention to detail, and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and HRIS databases.
