Family Solicitor - FTC, Essex, 3+ PQE – An excellent maternity cover opportunity for a public and private family law solicitor in a busy regional firm. 

JOB TITLE: Public Family Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 3+ years
LOCATION: Essex
SALARY: £45,000 - £50,000

THE ROLE:
My client are looking to take on an ambitious family solicitor to join their busy family team providing support during a period of maternity cover. Commencing immediately, the caseload will consist of private matters and those funded by legal aid or falling under the firm’s affordable fixed fee scheme and will include cases involving divorce and finances, financial orders proceedings, private law children matters, pre and post nuptial agreements, civil partnerships and public law children matters including care proceedings and emergency protection orders.

THE CANDIDATE:
I am looking to speak with family solicitors who have Family Resolution membership and ideally have legal aid supervisory status. Suitable candidates will require with strong advocacy experience. We expect candidates to be apt at communicating effectively with clients from a range of backgrounds and to have the compassionate and sympathetic abilities that the nature of this work calls for.
