In House Legal Counsel
A leading UK professional services company based in Central Lancashire is seeking to appoint an In-House Legal Counsel.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a market leading collection of companies that is undergoing rapid growth and development. You will join impressive offices which boast picturesque views.
As In-House Legal Counsel, you will report directly to the CEO, responsible for:
- Advising the Board on legal matters
- Responsible for ensuring the company is legally compliant with contracts, GDPR, AML, Employment and Property matters
- Dealing with internal and external clients on legal matters
- Implementation and improvement of legal processes
- Handling & dealing with correspondence, ADR and WP Calls regarding legal matters
The successful In-House Legal Counsel’s skills and experience:
- Senior Paralegal to Solicitor level
- Experience working within an In-House department
- Experience of Commercial Litigation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organisation and planning skills
- Accuracy and high attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Proactive and initiative
