This top 100 law firm possess one of the highest ranked social housing team in the UK and have a proven track record of offering training contracts to their paralegals. This is a great opportunity for a Property Litigation Paralegal to progress their career within one of the biggest and most successful practices in the country.

As a Property Litigation Paralegal, you will be responsible for assisting the fee earners in the team as well as having the chance to build and manage your own caseload. You will be advising landlords and social housing providers on a broad range of disputes such as rent arrears matters and breach of tenancy issues.

Key responsibilities:

  • Draft and prepare claim forms, pleadings and witness statements for the County Court, ensuring all are prepared as soon in advance as possible
  • Efficiently manage several deadlines relating to a variety of cases at any one time
  • Prepare trial bundles
  • Liaise with Court prior to trials to ensure necessary paperwork is sent and received and follow up on late/lost paperwork
  • Attend Court to assist Barristers and other fee-earners

The successful Property Litigation Paralegal will have good academics including at least a 2:1 or above at undergraduate level. Candidates must also possess an LLB or GDL certificate and previous experience working in Property Litigation. This role is ideally suited to someone working at a smaller firm looking to gain experience in a larger firm with great opportunities for development.
