Our client is a traditional UK law firm with a true family feel and such a strong team spirit that it is almost impossible to ignore. The firm is looking for you, as an experienced Legal Biller (2 + years' experience gained within a law firm), and one who loves nothing more than to showcase your talent, to be a true shining star for them. Your duties will involve;

Solely processing between 800 - 1000 bills per monthSole ownership, monitoring and clearance of the firm's billing inboxReviewing all bills received from Partners and Fee Earners for correct VAT and disbursement treatmentEnsuring write off approvals are obtained and the write off policy followed when posting billsActioning WIP write-off requests via £0 prebill postingLiaising with Fee Earners (who all have an open door policy), secretaries and other members of staff to solve pre-bill queries prior to billingProducing credit notes within the billing processDealing with disbursement queries at the point of billingIs the role a busy one? Yes. But being busy in a firm full of staff who are all pulling in the same direction (onwards and upwards) is nothing short of inspirational!
