Are you a Professional Negligence Senior Associate who is looking for a new opportunity? Would you like to work for an international top tier firm based in Edinburgh?
If so, our client is seeking a Professional Negligence Senior Associate to join its highly ambitious and well-regarded team.
Your role will involve a wide variety of duties, including handling a caseload that will cover professional negligence and commercial dispute resolution matters. You will be supporting and defending a wide range of insurers and professionals across all disciplines in relation to all aspects of professional liability claims, from policy response to litigation and any associated disciplinary matters. You will also work alongside insurers, assist in the defence of larger and more complex cases and be competent in instructing experts and counsel. As a more senior member of the team, there will be an element of overseeing junior solicitors.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly respected and well-established team where you will gain exposure to some of the most challenging and interesting claims in this field. There will also be an opportunity to take lead in business development initiatives.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have gained experience of managing a similar caseload and be able to demonstrate strong communication skills as well as the ability to prioritise your own caseload.
