The following role is being offered on a 12 month fixed term contract basis… Our client, a commercially driven US law firm and a clear market leader in its specialist field, is very keen to hire a Legal Secretary on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. With so many client meetings now taking place as business has continually increased over the past 12 months, you will be in charge of arranging and coordinating calendars, extensive travel schedules, meetings and events for your assigned Associates. You will constantly monitors your Lawyers' schedules and e-mail communications, making adjustments as necessary to accommodate changing circumstances and keep your team informed of any changes. You will also handle all travel reimbursement forms and reconcile reimbursements and charge accounts for your team. Being a Litigation role, there will be the obvious documentation so you will prepare and proofread legal documents and correspondence from the Associates' handwritten material, rough-copy or digital dictation, making necessary amendments and edits as directed by your team. Being a true boutique practice, there is most certainly the ethos that every support staff member rolls up their sleeves to ensure a favourable client outcome so there will be some administration which involves printing and binding, filing (electronic and physical) as well as covering the reception during certain periods and booking couriers as and when required. To qualify for the role, you will be a CILEx level 2 and level 3 qualified Legal Secretary with a minimum of 18 to 24 months' experience in a City law firm (which can include time spent as a Team Assistant) but as long as your experience to date covers the full remit of duties shown above, please feel free to apply!
