Healthcare Regulatory Solicitor, Berkshire / Remote – An exciting opportunity to join a leading professional regulatory team handling a mixed bag of healthcare regulatory matters.
JOB TITLE: Healthcare Regulatory Solicitor
PQE: 3+
LOCATION: Berkshire / Remote
SALARY: £40-55,000 DOE
THE ROLE:
This leading team of Regulatory Lawyers is one of the largest in the UK and is recognised as a leader in the field. The team acts for professional regulators in the healthcare, education, accountancy and other sectors conducting investigations regarding the competence and conduct of professionals and presenting cases before regulatory, fitness to practise tribunals. Your primary role will be to manage and undertake healthcare professional regulatory investigations and to work with a team of case support Paralegals. You will be advising clients on the evidence available, the public interest in bringing a case and, drafting charges, some statements and other documents to support the case.
THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will 3 years’ + PQE and be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive. Your expertise will have ideally been gained within the healthcare regulation or other sector. You may have similar skills through experience of other types of litigation including clinical negligence. You should ideally have gained some experience in investigating or managing the investigation of cases, be familiar with analysing evidence and be well versed in drafting advice, charges and associated documents. Advocacy experience would be desirable but is not essential.
