Company Secretarial Assistant - PLC Business - Can be based in London, Liverpool or Oxford
We are currently recruiting for someone with at least two years experience of working in a Company Secretarial team or function. Your role as the Company Secretarial Assistant will be to support the Head of Department and to deputise for the Company Secretary for Subsidiary and JV Boards.
Further to the above, you will provide support and guidance around regulatory and governance related requirements including some of (but not limited to) the below:
- Completion and filing of statutory filings
- Updating and maintaining statutory records of the subsidiary and JV companies
- Providing advice to Directors and senior management regarding governance
- Organise, attend and minute committee meetings as required
The above is a snapsnot of the responsibilities for this role; you will also take on ad hoc projects within the department, working closely with the legal team.
Our client are looking for someone who has experience of working as a company secretarial trainee or assistant and ideally ICSA qualified, or currently undertaking studies.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate they can interact with people at all levels, have good interpersonal skills and be confident in dealing with senior management.
Technically, experience of using Diligent would be useful but is not essential.
