Healthcare Advisory Associate / Senior Associate - This is a fantastic opportunity for an associate or senior associate / who is looking to develop their career in healthcare law. The role will sit in the Leeds office and is to work with an experienced Partner within the team. Healthcare law draws on various legal principles and areas of law including human rights, mental health and Judicial Review. Court of Protection experience is also crucial. The team is looking for inquisitive and ambitious lawyers who understand the intricacies of this area of law and wish to be part of a leading national team.

• Previous Experience: Broad range of PQE considered. Candidates should demonstrate a wide range of experience from Court of Protection work, cases involving mental health issues as well as SUI and Ombudsman investigations and general inquest work. Advocacy experience also highly sought.

Key areas of expertise relate to all matters surrounding patient welfare including patient complaints and Ombudsman investigations, often involving an in-depth knowledge of mental health law and human rights legislation.
