Excellent opening to suit an experienced contentious probate lawyer with this highly regarded Midlands firm.

Our client has an exceptional reputation for all facets of private client services and is keen to invest in growing its private client litigation offering with the appointment of a talented senior lawyer or associate.

There is a superb platform at this firm for an experienced contentious probate lawyer to advise on a broad range of matters including all types of inheritance disputes including applications contesting the validity of wills, applications to remove Executors, claims for reasonable financial provision under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 and the rectification of Wills and breach of trust claims as well as contentious Court of Protection applications.

With ideally a minimum of 5 years PQE (although applications are welcomed from lawyers with more or less experience than this) you'll be acting on behalf of an established client base of private individuals and their families, landowners / landed estates and rural sector clients, as well as entrepreneurs, business people and other wealthy individuals. This is an excellent opportunity, working alongside a well-regarded experienced partner.

The firm can offer an impressive range of work, clear opportunities within the team to progress (due to its favourable existing structure) and a friendly, flexible and team orientated culture.

*Where a level of experience is indicated, this is a guideline only and represents the amount of time we would usually expect a candidate to accumulate the requisite level of experience. This does not preclude applications from candidates with more or less experience.

Chadwick Nott Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
