A leading UK Top 50 law firm with offices throughout the UK is looking to add a Corporate Lawyer to their team in Manchester. This full-time, permanent position is ideal for someone with 3+ years of PQE in a similar position.
Your New Role
Key duties of the newly hired Corporate Lawyer will include:
- Advising on all aspects of private corporate M&A transactions.
- Being instrumental in helping to grow the corporate practice.
- Supporting lawyers at all levels of the practice with training and supervision.
- Developing and building upon your own caseload.
- Overseeing a caseload with a particular focus on corporate transactional work, including mergers and acquisitions, management buy-outs and buy-ins, and trade sales and disposals.
- Acting for private equity funds, fund managers and investee companies and their management teams
About You
Applications are invited from Lawyers who demonstrate:
- 3+ years of PQE in corporate transactional work.
- Intelligence and enthusiasm.
- Drive and confidence to deliver high-quality work and take initiative.
- Some experience in private equity is ideal, although not essential.
