Award winning company in Cheshire seeks 6+ years' PQE Solicitor for a Senior Legal Counsel position in its established in-house team.

This is a unique opportunity for a Senior Legal Counsel:
Reporting into the Legal & Compliance Director, the Senior Legal Counsel will be working alongside the UK Leadership Team, Regional Managing Directors and Heads of Function, and will have the opportunity to undertake a varied commercial legal role, working with clients from an impressive portfolio of clients across a wide range of industry sectors and large scale multinational suppliers.
The Senior Legal Counsel will be responsible for a significant portfolio of contracts in the Stadia, Concessions and Business & Industry divisions spanning operating sites from Scotland to the City of London.
As well as complex contract drafting and negotiation, the Senior Legal Counsel will undertake contractual support work for the Purchasing, IT, HR, Marketing and Safety & Wellbeing Teams, elements of IP, GDPR, Bribery and Corruption, Risk and Compliance, and supporting the Legal and Compliance Director with content for the online Learning & Development Portal.
Your key responsibilities will be to support the ensure legal and regulatory compliance in key areas, ensure legal contracts are aligned with company policies and procedures, mentor and support junior team members, whilst managing internal clients with diverse skills and varying backgrounds.
About you:
You will be a c. 6+ years' PQE solicitor, ideally with commercial contracts experience gained at a leading regional, national or international law firm, or equivalent in-house department.
Proven experience of strong drafting and negotiation skills, and an ability to work on a sizeable caseload with requisite organisational skills is essential.
