A large company secretarial team at a London headquartered bank is looking to hire an assistant company secretary on a 9 to 12 month fixed term basis. You will pick up immediate responsibility for the management of regulated board meetings and be the supporting secretary to the committee chairs. You will be dealing with all the preparation for these meetings such as collating and circulating Board papers; preparing agendas, meeting packs and taking minutes of meetings as and when required. You will be required to advise and train directors to ensure that their statutory duties are discharged effectively. You will contribute to the annual report and financial statements programme as well as the quarterly results announcement. You could be involved in corporate transactions, reorganisation and financing projects from a secretariat perspective. You will ensure compliance with corporate governance, legal, regulatory and constitutional governance obligations both external and internal.

To be considered for this position you must have at least 2 years financial services experience.
