Leading US law firm is looking to hire a new Junior New Business Intake/Conflicts Analyst, ideally looking for someone with 2 years’ experience and wanting that step-up who has experience of handling conflicts, due diligence on new clients, credit checks and AML exposure – this role is a team of 3 with your Manager being based in the States.  This role will be working from home at present.  Duties will include being asked to process new client and matter intake forms including identifying potential conflicts of interest and working with Ethics Attorneys to clear conflicts, research prospective new clients and related parties using firm databases and web-based applications, perform due diligence on prospective new clients, perform credit checks for prospective new clients, conduct sanctions list screenings for prospective new clients and parties, coordinate with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) team to ensure AML checks are completed for new clients or clients whose beneficial owners have changed, complete conflict checks for lateral candidates, process Additional Parties requests which involves performing conflict checks and working with Ethics Attorneys to clear conflicts and respond to calls, emails and workflow requests from firm attorneys, paralegals, and legal secretaries regarding the new business intake process.  Applicants require strong research and analytical skills via internet, databases and other sources, including the ability to synthesize large amounts of client due diligence data and present it in a clear, logical and succinct fashion, have excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate potentially detailed and complex information to others in a simple, concise manner, an aptitude and willingness to work with detailed facts and complex procedures and the ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to changing priorities in a professional manner.  Applicants must be degree educated or have professional qualifications and previous working experience of Intapp Open would be a huge bonus.  Standard hours are 9:30am to 5:30pm with this firm having stunning offices when back office working.
