As the Property Team grows due to increased attention from nationally based clients, an opportunity has become available for a talented, driven and ambitious 2-5 year PQE Solicitor to join the Regaite Office.

The role primarily involves all forms of commercial, development and/or investment property work and/or the disposal/acquisition of business.

Working directly with the Partner, the role will involve dealing with a vibrant mix of cases, with the occasional need to support in business develop and meeting clients, along with supporting other fee-earners in developing their expertise.

The successful candidate will be able to present and sustain the following;

• A good honours degree followed by LPC, training contract and PSC / or a good honours degree with CILEX to Fellow level, LPC and PSC and admitted by SRA as a solicitor
• Demonstrates strong competence in the chosen area of law and practice (and a sufficient understanding and awareness of all relevant areas of law as appropriate) but recognises the need to develop and learn.
• Achieves targets in respect of chargeable hours, fees, recovery rate, lock-up and non-chargeable time as an Assistant Solicitor and is either achieving, or working towards achieving, targets for an Associate Solicitor.
• Is developing and maintaining a client/referrer base.
• Understands and undertakes proper referral of work to relevant departments and recommendation of work for other departments.
• Shows willingness to be involved in activities of the firm outside of work within the department to which the individual is assigned.
• Demonstrates a clear understanding of, and alignment with, the values of the Firm.
• Demonstrates a high level of courtesy and respect in dealing with all colleagues, including Central Management, Finance, IT, HR and Marketing and clients/key business introducers, etc.
• Demonstrates a good sense of commercial awareness.
