THE FIRM
Our client is a well-established City law firm.
THE ROLE
Within the Construction team where the work comprises mainly contentious matters acting for clients such as developers, major corporations, funders, contractors, sub-contractors, construction consultants, local authorities, registered providers of social housing and PFI consortia.
The firm also acts for Registered Providers involving the team in some of the largest construction disputes in the social housing sector which are often in the spotlight of the national media.
ABOUT YOU
A lawyer with a mainly contentious construction background, you will have 5-6pqe and be looking to join a collegial and successful team going from strength-to-strength.
Able to hit the ground running, you will have a strong academic background, ideally gaining a 2:1 at degree level and a postgraduate course in construction law will be advantageous.
This role is for a self-motivated lawyer who has enthusiasm for business development and building the business.
