A top US Law Firm is looking to hire a new HR Specialist to join the firm on a permanent basis, assisting the Associate Director of HR in providing a comprehensive operational and strategic service to the London office. Responsibilities will include communicating any HR policy changes or employment law changes to the business, supporting with all performance management processes, leading on complex case management including sickness absence and performance issues and ensuring the relevant follow ups are taken, assisting with conduct and capability, grievance and disciplinary issues and employee relations matters. Other duties include assisting in developing and delivering the recruitment strategy in line with best practice, managing the induction and onboarding process for new hires, being the first point of contact for new joiners, assisting with work placement arrangements, supporting with the development of engaging recruitment agencies, assisting with the probationary review process and compensation and benefits process which will include undertaking market analysis and keeping abreast of market trends. Further responsibilities will include assisting with the learning & development career progression, rolling out training in support for any equality, diversity and inclusion policies and procedures, overseeing he production and maintenance of HR records in line with GDPR, managing flexible working requests and managing the maternity and paternity process. Candidates need to have a minimum of 5 years legal HR experience at advisor level, CIPD qualified, strong knowledge of employment legislation and experience with leading in performance management and employee relations maters. A salary of up to £50,000 is on offer plus fantastic benefits.
