Corporate Governance Locum

Full or part time working will be considered.

Our Local Authority client is looking to recruit an experienced and knowledgeable corporate governance lawyer to assist the Head of Legal for a minimum of 3 months.

The successful candidate will provide advice on a wide range of issues including:

  • Dealing with members complaints
  • Advising on constitutional matters
  • Providing guidance on governance and decision making
  • Schemes of delegation
  • Formation of committees

Due to the nature of the role, the client is seeking a candidate with a strong local authority background who has substantial previous experience of advising members and dealing with corporate governance matters.

The role will be to start asap and will initially be fully remote, however, some presence in the office is likely to be required later in the year.
