A highly regarded national firm based in Aldershot currently has several permanent vacancies available. The roles will be based their office in Aldershot although remote working is possible.
The roles are working within the firm's Litigation Team. This team has conduct of their own case load of personal injury claims (EL, PL & RTA) from admission or denial of liability through to settlement.
The Role & Responsibilities:
· Processing liability admitted cases through Stage 2 and 3 of the Low Value Pre Action Protocol.
· Considering and investigating liability on cases where liability is denied.
· Arranging medical examinations and treatment
· Corresponding with all relevant parties in the conduct of claims.
· Ensuring that clients and any relevant insurers are given accurate and up-to-date information and advice promptly.
· Preparing schedules of loss and valuing the compensation amount of the claim.
· Negotiating settlement.
· Issuing Part 7 proceedings.
· Attending court hearings.
· Multi-Track cases (for senior roles).
Successful candidates must have previous experience of handling their own caseload within a personal injury department, be self-motivated and driven, able to work under pressure and have the ability to organise and manage their time effectively.
Competitive salary offered according to experience together with a bonus scheme.
