My client is a leading regional law firm who has been advising individuals, organisations and businesses for more than 100 years.

With 28 partners and over 180 staff they offer a breadth and depth of expertise few firms in Kent, Surrey and Sussex can compete with. Their client base reflects their proximity to London and the cost benefit of using them without having to compromise on expertise.

They are expanding the Private Client Team based in Kent and have a vacancy for a lawyer to provide sound, considered, legal and practical advice to clients in connection with the management of affairs for the elderly and vulnerable, including wills, lasting powers of attorney, estate and tax planning, trust creation and Court of Protection matters.

They are looking for a minimum of 2 years PQE but will consider applications from candidates with more experience. Strong client relationship management and an enthusiastic approach to business development are key requirements, together with a proactive attitude to change management to support growth and development in this area of the business. Supporting the Associates and Partners who are responsible for E&V work, the ability to fit well into our friendly and hard-working team will also be important.
