Commercial Manager, Risk and Compliance

Our client are offering a fantastic opportunity to work with them as a Commercial Manager in London.

In this role, you will work closely with the Commercial Director and Head of Commercial in a growth related role. You will assist with major client negotiations, work as a legal author/reviewer for policies, processes, procedures and marketing materials. You will also assist with major supplier contract negotiations, support the Company Secretary and provide general company legal advice. In addition, you will lead on the management of the legal and commercial records, support and develop the compliance function and assist in the company risk management function.

This is a varied role and ideal for someone with a minimum of 5 years PQE in commercial contracts/knowledge management/risk and compliance. You must be able to draft and negotiate commercial contracts and general commercial agreements. Basic knowledge of property management and leasing are also advantageous. You will also have a track record of keeping library of documents up to date to reflect changes to the business and changes in external factors (including the law) and managing a rigorous change control procedure in respect of the same

The ideal candidate will also have experience with one or more of the following:

* Central government
* Critical environments
* Secure environments
* Defense

While the role is based in London, you will be expected to travel 90 miles to the company's other site on occasion to meet business needs and you must be able to achieve security clearance.

Salary £80-£85K
