Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting to a fantastic opportunity for a Childcare Lawyer to join a large, well-respected London Borough Council on a locum basis.
My client is willing to wait up to 4-6 weeks for the right candidate, this is an incredibly rare opportunity for those in permanent roles to get into the locum market despite longer contractual notice periods and with the peace of mind of having secured a role before giving notice.
Your duties will include:
- Handling a caseload of care proceedings and pre proceedings
- Providing advice on any public law childcare legislation
- Conducting advocacy if/when required
This assingment is expected to be long-term; it will begin on a 3-month contract and will be extended on a rolling basis.
You must be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with previous local authority experience to be considered for this post.
