The role:

looking for an Associate to join our Birmingham and Manchester based team, where you’ll be engaging a wide variety of environmental, Safety and Health related work. This role would focus primarily on environmental law including advice concerning all manner of environmental duties relating to air, water and land; corporate and property due diligence; nuisance including noise and toxic tort; chemical regulatory work such as REACH; waste law and duties; environmental enforcement including prosecutions; sustainability and the ESG agenda. In addition you may be involved in health and safety related work including in transactional support, inquests/public inquiries; and defending prosecutions.

Criteria:

• looking for an individual with 0 – 2 PQE who is looking to follow a career path as an environmental lawyer.
• has excellent academic credentials, with the drive and ability to deliver high-quality and take the initiative.
• You will need to be confident, self-motivated individual with great people skills.
