The Role

3+ PQE Employment Lawyer to join Tier 1 Bristol Top 75 in an Associate role.

Following ongoing and significant growth, and remaining to be at the forefront of guidance given to healthcare and local governance, whilst expanding heavily into the commercial, educational and international sectors.

You will manage high profile commercial and regulatory disputes, primarily acting for employers in support of improving practices, whilst defending litigation.

The team is recognised nationally for the work they do in both contentious and non-contentious matters, being the experts in internal disciplinary /grievance/capability processes, reviewing policies and procedures and contracts, advising on equalities obligations, conduct of and/or support on Employment Tribunals, advising on TUPE processes including inputting into drafting of commercial agreements and delivering training on a broad range of employment issues whilst supporting business development.

You will be hands on with client relations, quickly rise to become an expert in the field and be met with a progression trajectory that is afforded to very few in employment law.

  • 3+ relevant PQE in Employment
  • Willingness to develop legal expertise, coupled with a hunger to progress and specialise within the team
  • Creativity in solving problems, along with the communication skills and foresight required to form and nurture relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
