Our client are an innovative and modern practice of the highest calibre with a fantastic culture and ethos second to none. They describe themselves as a family orientated law firm with a strong work/life balance, a place where clients feel valued.

The firm have doubled in size in the last three years to propel themselves amongst the leading names in East Anglia and their offices are easily accessible by both car and rail from London with ample car parking available. Pre pandemic 45% of their staff already worked flexibly in some form, from working part-time to working from home, so you can be assured of complete commitment on flexible working and your career and working week can look different as part of their team.

They now wish to expand their team with the appointment of a newly or recently qualified or more experienced Leasehold Enfranchisement Lawyer.

The successful candidate will focus on providing services to leaseholders and freeholders covering all aspects of leasehold enfranchisement, including non-statutory lease extensions, statutory lease extensions and collective enfranchisement.

You will have a proven track record in delivering strategic, pragmatic and expert legal advice, providing high service levels to clients. You will be experienced in managing your own caseload of leasehold, residential or commercial property matters, or a mix thereof, under minimal supervision.

As the firm continues to grow, the successful candidate will be keen to build their personal reputation as a leasehold enfranchisement specialist in the region and nationally, alongside that of the firm’s reputation.

What experience do I need?

Prior experience in leasehold enfranchisement matters is preferable but not essential.  We welcome applications from candidates with prior leasehold enfranchisement experience or  candidates with other property experience who have a keen interest in this area and an ambition to specialise in the field. Training will be provided where specific leasehold enfranchisement experience is more limited.

Regardless of the extent of your previous specific leasehold enfranchisement experience, the role will suit an ambitious self-starter who is looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to play a key role in developing an important strategic service area for the business, nationally.  You should have the ability to manage your own caseload but there are experienced team members who you will be able to learn from and who will provide specialist support.
